Community Impact Stories

Growing callaloo and sweet potatoes in the same soil where my ancestors once labored feels like healing. My children help me tend our 50m² plot every weekend, learning both our history and how to grow their own food.

After Hurricane Irma, I never wanted to depend on imported food again. FFGA's community garden gave my family real food security – last month we harvested 45kg of vegetables from our plot!

The FFGA garden gave us more than fresh vegetables – it gave us a Caribbean family. Saturday mornings at Plantation Succour are about growing friendships that will last a lifetime.
