Position title
Treasurer - Financial Oversight and Grant Management
Description
Oversee all financial aspects of FFGA operations, including budgeting, grant management, and financial reporting to ensure sustainable growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and monitor annual budgets for community garden operations
- Manage grant applications and compliance reporting
- Oversee financial controls and audit processes
- Present quarterly financial reports to the board
- Coordinate with Stichting Marlin Yard's financial systems
- Ensure compliance with Dutch foundation regulations (ANBI status)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 3+ years experience in non-profit financial management
- Knowledge of grant writing and management processes
- Experience with Dutch accounting standards and regulations
- Proficiency in Excel and financial software
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
